LAMBDA EPSILON CHI

Lambda Epsilon Chi is the national honor society founded by the American Association for Paralegal Education. There are approximately 94 Chapters throughout the United States with well over 1,000 inductees who have been honored for their outstanding academic achievements. The purpose of Lambda Epsilon Chi is to recognize persons who have demonstrated superior academic performance in an established program of paralegal/legal assistant studies offered at an institution that is an Institutional member in good standing of the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE). To be initiated into Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX), a student at Eastern must have an overall 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA, and have completed two-thirds of the paralegal program requirements and 24 semester hours of Paralegal (LAS) major courses. Students may apply for admission once they have completed 90 semester hours of the 128 hours required for a B.A in Paralegal Science, or 45 semester hours of the 65 required for an A.A. in Paralegal Studies.
